If you have a Parcelforce complaint or want to report a delivery issue, then you need to contact the Parcelforce complaints number. Parcelforce customer service advisers are available from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday at 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. 5 p.m. on Sunday. The parcelforce complaints number is not available on UK and public holidays.

When you can make a claim for compensation

You can make a claim to compensation if your parcel has been lost, damaged or delayed. Only the sender is able to make a claim against Parcelforce. Your claim must be submitted within 30 days of the item being dispatched. If the item has been dispatched by global express then the complaint must be received within 15 days. For items sent through global value and HM forces the complaint must be sent within 120 days.

How to make a successful claim

Parcelforce states that you need to keep the item and its packaging and till your claim has been resolved. Claims will be deemed valid if you are unable to provide these when requested. For items which are perishable it is recommended that you take photos of the contents. Photos will be considered eligible evidence for making a claim.Parcelforce does not provide compensation where the item includes glass. It also does not cover compensation for antiques and jewellery. 

What you need to make a claim

In order to make a claim you will need your parcel number, proof of the value of the item sent and proof of postage. Proof of the value can be obtained through invoices and purchase receipts. If you contact the Parcelforce customer service helpline they will be able to guide you through the process of making a claim.
