You can use the track and trace service to track parcels that you have sent to another person, as well as to track parcels that are being delivered to you. Parcelforce Tracking Number
If you are wanting to track your parcel then you will first need to obtain your parcel tracking number. If you sent the item yourself, the number should be on the confirmation of your order which will have been sent to you by email. If you are tracking an item that is being sent to you, then you will need to contact the sender who will be able to give you the tracking number.
Track and Trace Online
The next step is to log onto the official Parcelforce website. Click on the ‘track and trace’ link which will take you to a page where you can enter your track and trace number into the ‘track your parcel’ box. Make sure that you enter the full number and that you don’t include any spaces at all. You will then be taken to a page which will show the current status of your parcel delivery.
If you are having difficulty in tracking your parcel, then it is worth noting that not all parcels can be tracked. If the parcel was sent by Globalvalue or Globaleconomy services then it can’t be tracked. If the delivery status is currently showing as ‘loaded to delivery vehicle’ it means that your parcel is ready for delivery. Parcelforce UK will deliver items up to 5:30pm, and they advise customers not to contact them before that time period if the parcel has not been received as it could still be in transit.
